Persia International Bank

Persia International Bank plc commenced trading in London on 29 April 2002, following the merger of the London branches of Bank Mellat and Bank Tejarat, which are joint shareholders in Persia International Bank. [1] There is also a branch office now open in Dubai.[2] The United States Department of the Treasury has mentioned Persia International in their latest watchlist of Iranian banks which may be trading in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1803.[2] As of 7 November 2008, British banks suspended indefinitely all banking transactions with Persia International.
